RAD Bucharest 2026
Forthcoming event
Overview
Einspach & Czapolai Fine Art will participate for the first time at the RAD Bucharest 2026
art fair with works by Zsolt Bodoni (1975), Tamas Dezsö (1978), and Muntean/Rosenblum
(1962).
Zsolt Bodoni’s works examines the relationship to history from a critical and ironic perspective. Drawing on archival sources, he deconstructs fixed meanings and questions established historical interpretations. In his works, motifs of religion, art, and collective memory are placed in new contexts, revealing the uncertainty of narratives about the past.
Tamas Dezsö’s works investigate the layers of Eastern European identity, combining documentary observation with a personal, lyrical perspective. His images feature fragments of cities and landscapes: overlapping traces of nature, industrial environments, and traditions, which together outline the complex experience of post-communist existence.
Muntean/Rosenblum combine the visual language of art history with that of popular culture. In their works, they analyze the states and behavioral patterns of the younger generation, paying particular attention to how visual culture and mass media shape self-image and the perception of reality. Their images often create an effect that is both familiar and estranging: they construct compositions from motifs drawn from diverse sources, highlighting how identity is largely formed through constructed narratives.
